Budding buccaneers had a swashbuckling time when they joined Captain Jack Sparrow for a free pirate fun day in Wisbech.
Youngsters dressed up as pirates and impersonator Darren Potter made a guest appearance as the Pirates of the Caribbean character when the popular event was held at the Horsefair Shopping Centre.
Horsefair manager Kevin Smith said the day was a fantastic success. It included pirate face painting, pirate-themed balloon modelling, a treasure hunt, fairground rides and games.
There was also a Punch and Judy show from Uncle Mick’s Entertainments and boat making and colouring, organised with the help of Wisbech Baptist Church.
‘Captain Jack Sparrow’ posed for photos with shoppers and also judged the youngsters’ fancy dress competition.
