Local MP Steve Barclay opened a new interview room at March branch of the Nationwide Building society of Friday.

Branch manager Louise Sutton explained the room has been created after the organisation listened to customer feedback which asked for more privacy. The upstairs facility will be used by the branch’s three financial consultants to cater for customers seeking advice about savings, mortgages and loans.

Mr Barclay, who cut a ribbon to officially open the room, said; “It’s great to see businesses investing in improvements locally to offer better customer services. It also demonstrates their commitment to the town.”
