One of the Fenland’s best-known legal firms is undergoing changes of name and hierarchy as it looks to the future.
Bowser Ollard and Bentley, with offices in Wisbech and March, is now to be known as Bowsers, a move which will help the public, claims Brian Bowser, senior director at the firm.
“Throughout the region so many people know us as Bowsers, so we thought it made good sense to shorten our name to reflect this,” said Mr Bowser.
“Many legal firms have long names and can be a bit of a mouthful for everyone, so we see this a fresh and modern name for a traditional legal firm which is adapting itself for the present day and the future.”
The name change pays due deference to a name long associated with law in the region. Mr Bowser is the third generation of his family to work in the legal profession.
As well as the name change, the firm is welcoming Akhil Choudhury as a director alongside the duo of Brian Bowser and Ian Groome, who said they are delighted to welcome him to the board.
