CUB, a local energy consultancy based in March, have been getting into the Christmas spirit in the office and look forward to enjoying the final weeks of 2013, ready for a busy year ahead.

To mark the last few weeks in the office, CUB employees have been keeping themselves busy filming a festive poem that will be sent to all clients, wishing them a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. They have also been raising money for the Papworth Trust and March Youth Centre, by organising fun and games in the office such as wrapping relay races, Christmas raffles and much more.

Louis Fairfax, CUB Managing Director, said: “It’s nice to reward our staff with a bit of Christmas fun and games towards the end of a hard but successful 2013. To be able to do all this, with the thought of all proceeds going to Papworth Trust and within the March community makes it really rewarding.”

The March-based energy consultancy will be continuing their charitable efforts into the New Year with Green Team, CUB’s community volunteer team, who will be working alongside Age UK, NSPCC and The National Trust on a collection of projects throughout the New Year.

CUB have been busy with the lead up to 2014 where they will be launching new products and services at several shows; these include Data Centre World, Nemex 2014 and the Hotel and Catering show.

They will also be celebrating their 20th anniversary in 2014.

“CUB has been run by the Fairfax family for nearly 20 years and it’s pleasing to see that a company, within a difficult industry, endure over the years and it really shows that what we do as a business means so much to our customers,” said Louis, adding: “We’re really excited for 2014, the whole team have been working at 100% capacity to get things ready for the year ahead; it’ll be great to see things come to fruition. We have been focusing our attention on what services our customers want to receive from an energy consultancy; we believe that by listening we can achieve great things.”
