The Cat’s Pyjamas Emporium, off Market Square in Wisbech, has taken first prize in a national competition with its winning window display.
Inspired by Wisbech’s Arts Festival week, co-owner Tracey Moll decided to enter the competition run by “Something Different” the UK distributor for iconic fantasy designers Lisa Parker and Anne Stokes.
The competition was run over the internet via social media and required the entrants to create and then photograph a window display featuring work by the two designers.
Tracey said: “Since we opened the shop just over a year ago we have always tried to make our window displays as interesting and varied as possible to reflect the range of products we offer. To have our efforts recognised at a national level is a real credit for a tiny boutique store in small market town. We are thrilled to have won the first prize”.
