Greenvale AP has presented almost £3,000 to local charities.

Employees at the March Floods Ferry site chose East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH), FACET and Magpas as the recipients of the money.

The cash was allocated to the March site by the company as part of its annual charity donation and each site could then choose where they wanted the money to go.

The cheques were presented last week to the charities by operations manager Rob Phillips.

FACET, which is Greenvale’s charity of the year, received £1,000 which will be used to buy a CNC machine so they can make wooden items faster for sale through their website.

EACH received £935 and said the money would go to the Milton hospice, and air ambulance charity Magpas also got £935.

Rob said: “It means a lot to the staff and to the company to support local instead of national charities. This is really about Greenvale supporting the local community.”
