Dog friendly holidays at Tydd St Giles

Dog lovers taking their pooches for a New Year break can now book in at a leisure estate in Cambridgeshire.

Tydd St Giles Golf and Leisure Estate near Wisbech is opening its gates to canine cuties so all the family can enjoy a holiday together.

Adrian Hurst, managing director of Tydd St Giles Golf and Leisure Estate, explained: “Here at Tydd St Giles we have a pet-friendly lodge available for hire.

“We’re offering people the chance to treat their terrier to a relaxing mid-week break or bring their boxer for a lengthy walk across the peaceful parkland. We’re also inviting people who have recently taken their pet away on holiday to visit our Facebook page and share their favourite pet holiday snaps with us.”

Tydd St Giles Golf and Leisure Estate spans more than 150 acres of Cambridgeshire’s finest Fenland. The exclusive community of luxury holiday homes and lodges has been created around an 18-hole golf course and lake.

A £2 million leisure complex will be opening in February and will feature a heated indoor pool with a coco jet machine, which controls the water current, steam room and sauna, as well as a fully air-conditioned fitness suite.

Visitors to the estate can also enjoy horse riding, coarse fishing and there are various walks and birdwatching spots.

As well as the pet friendly lodge, there are 11 luxury lodges and holiday homes available to rent on the site, accommodating up to six people.
