A Wisbech manager has been crowned a leader of the future after winning a national award.

Luke Venni (23), who works as an admin manager for the Ferry Project in Wisbech, has been recognised as being among the top young leaders in the country in the annual awards organised by 24 Housing Magazine.

Luke works for housing provider Luminus, which had another employee also recognised in the competition. Cheryl Dyer (26) works as a HR business manager for the company.

Luminus Group Chief Executive, Dr Chan Abraham, congratulated Cheryl and Luke saying: “Our young leaders have won an outstanding achievement for the whole Luminus team. In 2013, our Year of Regenerating and Refreshing Perspectives, they have shown how, with commitment and perseverance, inspired people can accomplish powerful results for the benefit of others.”
