MARCH could soon be getting its own KFC drive-through if a plan submitted to Fenland District Council is passed.
The restaurant is proposed next to the new Marston’s family public house, Cobblestones, off the A141 in Westry.
It would see a restaurant with an eating-in area, plus a drive-through facility for customers.
The project would give a job boost to the area, creating 14 full-time roles and 20 part-time jobs.
It is proposed to have the restaurant operating between 7am and 11pm Sunday to Thursday and 7am to 1am on Fridays and Saturdays, excluding Bank Holidays.
As the site is situated next to existing bungalows, it will be set back to make it unobtrusive to residents.
A decision has yet to be made on the application.
