Big hearted people in Wisbech are being asked to support a new campaign to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
The BHF has created a second range of special edition diaries in partnership with international stationery giant, Collins.
The two heart-inspired diaries, available in A5 and slim size, are on sale now from retailers including Staples and Amazon.
Collins will donate up to 70p from each sale of the mid-year diaries – which run from July 2013 to July 2014 – directly to BHF to help fund pioneering research, support and care for heart patients and their families.
The new range follows in the footsteps of the hugely successful 2013 diary, which sold out within a matter of weeks. The diaries will join BHF’s line up of special edition products and are available at Staples, Amazon and Collins online shop. The A5 and slim diaries are priced at £6.99 and £5.99 respectively.
Amit Aggarwal, head of corporate partnerships at the British Heart Foundation, said: “The funds raised through the sale of the Collins BHF diaries will help us carry out our life-saving work and make a real difference to the lives of heart patients across the UK to help beat heart disease.
“It is fantastic to partner with a historic and home-grown company like Collins to launch another British Heart Foundation range of diaries. Collins has a wonderful heritage and is widely recognised as the leader in the diary and stationery sector, making it the perfect partner for us.”
Julie Lynch, sales and marketing director at Collins, said: “The British Heart Foundation is one of the UK’s most well-established and worthy charities and we’re proud to support its important work through the creation of our second BHF range.
“This range is bigger and better than last year following its unprecedented success. Our complete range flew off the shelves and helped us raise a wonderful sum for BHF.
“Heart disease is a terrible problem which is prevalent throughout the UK. It is important to us that we deliver a project which will have a tangible impact on thousands of people’s lives – our partnership with BHF will do exactly that. BHF is an incredible cause and one that we are honoured to support once again.”
