Partners and staff at chartered accountants, Wheelers, of Wisbech, have marked a milestone in the careers of two of their team - Pat Patterson and Jo Warren who both celebrated 25 years with the firm.

During a lunch attended by the whole team, the partners thanked them for their support and loyalty saying: “In today’s society, long periods of service with a single employer are rare and we are proud to have two employees who have been with us for so long. Both Pat and Jo have been core members of the team and their professionalism and commitment has served as an example to all those around them.”

Mrs Patterson joined Coopers & Lybrand in King’s Lynn in June 1988 and transferred to Wheelers when the Lynn office was taken into the Wheelers fold in 1990. She subsequently moved to the Wisbech office and has worked as a tax manager.

This was a double celebration for Mrs Patterson who retires at the end of the month.

Mrs Warren joined the original firm of GA Wheeler and Co in June 1988 in a general admin role and moved to the tax department two years later. Eventually her flare for organisation and promoting the firm saw her migrate into marketing.
