Staff at Tydd St Giles Golf and Leisure Estate have chosen a charity that helps people affected by cancer as their charity of the year.
During the next 12 months, the centre will be supporting Macmillan Cancer Support. Adrian Hurst, Managing Director of the estate, said: “We chose Macmillan Cancer Support because of its work helping cancer suffers and their families.
“We are really looking forward to raising funds for this very worthy charity throughout 2013. We have lots of events planned, including linking with the charity’s World Biggest Coffee Morning in September, so we hope to raise lots of cash.”
Macmillan Cancer Support is a charity that improves the lives of people affected by cancer, providing practical, medical, emotional and financial support.
A £2million leisure complex will be opening in February and will feature a heated indoor pool, steam room and sauna, as well as a fully air-conditioned fitness suite.
