Wisbech Lions organised a pub lunch for members of the St Augustine’s Day Centre following on from similar successful outings for people from the Glenfield Residential Home.

With the assistance of Maxine Woodhouse and Carole Farmworth, from the day centre, arrangements were made with the Lions’ welfare committee to take three separate groups to the Red Lion pub and restaurant in Wisbech during August and September for lunch.

So far, about 80 senior citizens have enjoyed the outings.
