Volunteer Centre Fenland staff and Trustees want to thank all the volunteers who already offer their help to voluntary organisations in the wider community of Fenland.

Volunteers are always needed and if you would like to volunteer or find out more, call the Wisbech-based centre on 01945-582192.

Annette and Sue will advise and help potential volunteers over the phone or come to the centre at the Rosmini Centre during the drop-in on a Monday and Tuesday from 11am to noon. The centre is upstairs. You can also text or call the office mobile Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 2.30pm on 07918136573.

Volunteers can apply online at: www.do-it.org.uk. Online volunteers need to complete all sections on the form.

Current opportunities include helping with fundraising, car drivers, a car scheme co-ordinator (home-based), people who can sew (home-based), Credit Union help, befrienders, a community choir needs volunteers who can sing or play an instrument, dog walkers and fosterers, translators of all languages, a committee needs a member with a legal background.

Organisations, clubs and groups who are looking for volunteers can also get in touch with their opportunities or register any new ones.
