A dog is in danger of being put to sleep if a home can’t be found for it.
Brown and white Staffy Scooby is seven years old and needs a new home desperately. He is in the Wisbech area.
His owner has just had a baby and while the dog has not demonstrated any violence, they are wary of keeping him around the baby.
Local dog rescues have been approached but with the backlog of abandoned animals, there is a lack of space.
Scooby has lived with another dog but his owners would prefer him to go to a home with no young children or dogs. He is described as “playful” and can be boisterous but Ryan Wagg, whose brother owns the dog, said they have “never had any problems”.
