Renowned musician and singer songwriter, Cathy Burton is coming to perform in Wisbech on Saturday, March 29 in the Queen Mary Centre.
Cathy has been a recording artist for 14 years and has performed around the world including countries such as Russia, Canada, France, Holland, Ukraine and the USA and has won various awards for her music over the years.
The evening will feature Cathy and her band who will be playing over an hour of Cathy’s heartfelt and emotionally honest songs interspersed with information and video clips about the charity MAF (Mission Aviation Fellowship) who fly planes to the remotest parts of the world bringing aid, medicine, education and spiritual comfort.
Starting in 1945 MAF has grown and now has a worldwide fleet of 130 aircraft operating in more than 30 countries.
The evening will take on a café-style setting, with tables and chairs in the auditorium. Audience members are encouraged to bring along some nibbles or a picnic to enjoy during the concert.
The event is hosted by The King’s Church, Wisbech who will provide hot drinks. This promises to be a fantastic night of musical entertainment and inspirational stories that is suitable for the whole family.
The event starts at 6.30pm (doors open 6pm). Advance tickets cost £5 and are available now from Oasis Bookshop, Norfolk Street, Wisbech and The Queen Mary Centre.
Alternatively you can buy tickets online from www.kingswisbech.org.uk which cost £5 plus a £1 internet booking fee. Tickets will also be available on the door at £8 each.
Proceeds from ticket sales will go towards venue hire and includes a donation to the work of MAF.
