The 130th anniversary of the railway arriving in March was celebrated in style at the weekend.
Friends of March Railway supported the national Heritage Open Day by opening up disused platforms at the station to the estimated 300 and 400 people who went along.
The event, which was held on Saturday (September 12) also included a 1940s display along with craft stalls.
Friends and supporters also donned 1940s costumes during the day.
The event raised £545 for the Friends group funds.
Chairman of the Friends Adrian Sutterby said: “We were really pleased with the day.”
