STAFF at Wisbech business Hutchinsons, along with partners and friends, took part in the Lincoln 10K run raising money for the British Heart Foundation.
The charity is very dear to the business - due to the untimely death of Paul Moody. Paul was the key account manager to Hutchinsons from a key manufacturer supplier and was well-known and respected.
Cheryl Chapman, Fenland Running Club member, organised the team of runners, managed the fundraising through sponsorship and also ensured all the runners were wearing their bright orange Hutchinsons shirts.
The runners varied in experience from seasoned athletes to first timers. First home from was Nick Baker in a very creditable 39 minutes 38 seconds with Richard Dix in 41:32. All the runners completed the course, so far raising £2,000 with some monies still to be added.
