Getting up close and personal with animals is always a treat for children and parents alike and Pigeons Farm at Thorney offers visitors just that opportunity.

At the moment people can bottle feed the lambs and also help collect chicken eggs.

There is also a chance to pet the other animals and to learn about their breeding and rearing.

Pigeons Farm, in Wisbech Road, is open from 10am to 5pm seven days a week, and offers families a great day out not only meeting the animals but also enjoying other activities such as the large play area.

The fun play area offers children a safe environment to have fun and enjoy playing on a host of equipment including the new ‘jumping pillow’.

This large bouncy area offers lots of jumping fun for children of all ages.

Staff are on hand throughout the day to chat to visitors and ensure everyone has an enjoyable experience.

There is also a restaurant where visitors can enjoy an array of snacks and refreshments and a shop to snap up a souvenir to help remember the fun of the day.
