IT was presentation time at the Swan Inn at Parson Drove on Friday when customers and landlady Angela Willis handed over a total of £3,000.

The money was divided between the critical care fund at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn and the Cots for Tots appeal at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital.

Angela explained the hospitals were chosen because her 13 month-old granddaughter Willow Fowler needed surgery at the Norwich hospital when she was a day old after being born with complications and customer Paul Fryett needed emergency surgery at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Willow, her mum Sarah Grant and dad James Fowler attended the presentation.

Most of the money was raised from the pub’s harvest auction conducted by customer Henry Ward, other money came from Christmas and New Year’s raffles and around £350 was raised when New Year customer Mark dressed in a mankini for a fundraising dare.
