WISBECH woman Sue Whitby is organising her annual charity fundraising 1960s and 70s dance to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
Dancing is to Mel Stevens and the Strollers on Saturday November 3 at Marshland High School Hall in West Walton from 8pm. Tickets are £9 and available from Fox’s Card Shop in the Market Place, Wisbech, or by contacting Sue on 07814 304397 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Said Sue: “I’ve organised the dance for the last 20 years and it’s always a great night with a lovely group of people and great music. There’s no bar, but people are welcome to bring their own food and drink with them. We also have various raffles throughout the evening, with lots of great prizes.
“This year we’re raising money for British Heart Foundation in memory of my sister-in-law, Carol Weston. Also my husband has had quadruple by-pass surgery and so it is personally important to me to raise as much money as we can for this fantastic and hugely worthwhile, charity.”
