A creative youngster has won a Christmas card competition.

Children from Westwood Primary School, March, along with Glebelands and Kingsfield in Chatteris were invited to submit designs for the Ellis Winters & Co Christmas card.

But it was the spectacular snowman created by Cleo Bailey, of Glebelands, which has been announced as the overall winner.

Tracy Raine, of Ellis Winters & Co, said: “All of the children really let their imaginations run wild and came up with some fantastic designs - we had a very hard job judging all the entries and selecting the winners so we selected one overall winner and awarded first, second and third prizes for each school.

“On behalf of all of my colleagues here in Chatteris and March, I’d like to thank the children for all their hard work. I can’t wait to see Cleo’s winning design turned into some very special Christmas cards this year!
