The Chloe’s Dream appeal is really getting off the ground, with generous Fenland people donating more than £5,000 in just a few weeks.
Jacqui Owens Wadsley, from the Hare and Hounds in Wisbech, held a quiz night and raised over £400. She presented the cheque to Chloe and said it was great when a community pub gets together.
The coffee morning and craft fair held at Stepping Stones Pre-school in Leverington raised an amazing £1,001.
Chloe attended the coffee morning and said to Minnie Mouse: “I’ll see you at Disney.”
Shona Sewell, from the pre-school and one of the people behind the appeal, said: “It warmed our hearts!”
Special thanks go to Karen Hunt, EJ Leisure, Print EXCELL, Farmfoods, Wisbech Tesco, The Entertainer in Peterborough, Big Sky, Tydd St Giles Golf Course and Tydd Gote Bowls club. Also a big thanks to anyone who helped in any way.
