WHEN 15-year-old Chloe Thulborn was asked what she would like for her birthday, there was no hesitation – a skydive in memory of her brother to raise money for the hospital where he was treated.

Jack Thulborn lost his fight against leukaemia in November 2010 at the age of just 16. He was treated in Ward C10 at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge and his family remain very grateful for the care he received.

So mum Trudy Hill happily granted Chloe her request and paid for her to do a tandem skydive at the North London Parachute Centre at Wimblington.

Since Jack’s death, there have been many fundraising events for either Ward C10 or The Teenage Cancer Trust. Chloe, who lives in Wisbech St Mary, wanted to do an event by herself to show her own appreciation.

Chloe successfully completed her skydive on Sunday, August 19. She has raised around £1,100 so far and will be presenting the money to Ward C10 in the near future.
