There was a glorious array of vehicles on offer for local enthusiasts on Sunday.

The popular Wisbech and District Historic Vehicle Club’s road run saw vintage and custom vehicles take to the road before parking up for people to admire them.

The impressive cavalcade, which had record numbers in excess of 250 vehicles, travelled from Wisbech to the new venue of Railworld in Peterborough before returning to Somers Road car park.

Spokesperson Vikki Guy said the weather was on their side and guaranteed lots of visitors turning out.

There was a wide range of vehicles, from motorbikes and scooters to classic cars. There were lots of commercial vehicles, including lorries and coaches, and also two fire engines.

Entries came from across the area and from as far afield as Rutland and Norfolk.

Vikki thanked everyone for their continued support and said they have hopefully raised lots of money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance and other local charities.

The money will be presented to the charities at a later date.
