Make a date in your diary – next Thursday, 25 July – and come along for a morning of fun and fundraising for breast cancer care.

That’s the plea from Long Sutton Women’s Institute (WI), who are holding a coffee morning in aid of the breast cancer unit at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn.

The coffee morning is being held from 10am until 12 noon at St Mary’s Church Hall, next to the parish church in the centre of Long Sutton. Just turn up on the day.

A £1 entry charge includes tea or coffee and cake, and stalls at the event will include a sweet stall, tombola, a raffle, ‘pink and purple’ stall, ‘cup ‘n’ cakes, Guess the Weight of the Cake, a bottle stall, new and nearly new handbags, purses and scarves – plus games.

Long Sutton WI holds a charity coffee morning every year. A number of WI members have been treated for breast cancer so this year they nominated the QEH Breast Cancer Unit Development fund as their charity.
