A collaboration between five companies has resulted in a cheque for £1,254.50 being presented to Meadowgate School in Wisbech.

Truckweld, Tam Engineering, Priden Engineering, Alibulk and the Welding Centre came together at Christmas for their annual fundraising event. Through a raffle at the Christmas party and donations, they managed to raise over £1,000.

Michelle Flanz, deputy headteacher at Meadowgate, said donations such as this were very much appreciated as so much of the equipment they have to buy is specialised and therefore expensive. They are currently investing in communication equipment, such as iPads, that really help the children.
