FACET members put on an all-singing, all-dancing display at the charity’s AGM.
Guests were treated to a selection of songs from the musicals and movies, including hits from Grease, Titanic and the Sound of Music.
Students at the March centre then performed ‘Scrooge the Musical’, putting their own spin on the popular Christmas tale.
Their performances were enhanced by the new Opti Music Centre that was purchased through the fundraising efforts of FACET. It allows the students to make their own music and was also to screen scenery.
Centre manager Kathy Thorne said: “The students found their own scenery and they were able to have much more impact on the show. They worked really hard on their costumes and did really well. We’re delighted with how it all went.”
Certificates were also given out to mark achievements.
The event raised £200 for FACET which will go towards a new minibus.
