First surgeries for Police Commissioner

Cambridgeshire’s first Police Commissioner Sir Graham Bright has announced the dates of his first surgeries, including one in Fenland in February.

Sir Graham will hold his first surgery in Peterborough in December, followed by Cambourne on Jaunary 24 and Fenland on February 21. The Fenland location is yet to be confirmed.

He plans to hold regular surgeries for residents to raise issues and concerns relating to policing and community safety,

The sessions will involve one-on-one appointments, lasting a maximum of 15 minutes.

Sir Graham said: “I was elected to represent the views of all communities, including those in the cities of Cambridge and Peterborough and the districts of Huntingdonshire, Fenland, East Cambridgeshire and South Cambridgeshire.

“In order to be the voice of the public I am keen to meet and listen to as many people as possible. The surgeries will ensure members of the public can raise any concerns they have so I can work with relevant agencies to respond to these.”

Sir Graham is also considering how he is best able to link with other communities during his term in office and is keen to engage with Neighbourhood Watch and other volunteer groups and parishes.

If you would like to book a 10-15 minute appointment to speak to Sir Graham please contact the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner on 0300-333-3456, email cambs-pcc@cambs.pnn.police.uk or write to: Cambridgeshire Police & Crime Commissioner, South Cambridgeshire Hall, Cambourne Business Park, Cambourne, CB23 6EA.

If your issue or concern is likely to take more than 15 minutes to discuss, please advise the Commissioner’s Office.
