Man arrested in connection with burglary

A 23-year-old man is currently in police custody after being arrested earlier today (Wednesday) in connection with a burglary at the weekend at Wisbech Grammar School.

The burglary occurred on Sunday (March 17) between 9.45pm and 10.15pm when an offender used a rock to smash kitchen window at rear of premises on North Brink to gain entry. An alarm appeared to disturb offender who made off empty handed.

As a result of forensic evidence from the scene a 23-year old male was arrested today for burglary and is currently being questioned in custody.
