Six men were arrested in London last week in connection with a phone scam that has been operating in this area.
Warrants were executed at seven addresses in North London by officers from six counties. The operation was led by the Eastern Region Special Operations Unit (ERSOU).
Four 18-year-old men and two 19-year-old men were arrested on suspicion of fraud by false representation. Money and high value items, such as designer clothes and electrical goods, were seized during the warrants.
Remember that your bank or the police will never ask for your bank details or PIN over the phone, never ask you to send them bank cards or withdraw money and send it to them. If you are suspicious about a call, hang up and contact police on 101.
