Police are appealing for information about an arson attack that gutted a property in Chatteris.
The fire at the unoccupied outbuilding in East Park Street, caused extensive damage to the building and property inside.
Officers believe the fire was started deliberately at about 8pm on Sunday (March 17). A member of public spotted the smoke and called the fire service.
No one was inside the barn at the time.
DC Chris Smith, who is investigating, said: “This building hadn’t been used for years, but filing cabinets and paper were set alight.
“I would appeal to anyone who saw anyone behaving suspiciously in the area on Sunday evening to contact police.”
