A Chatteris woman has appeared in court today (Tuesday) and admitted possession of amphetamine.
Hannah Bird (29) of Curlew Avenue, was caught with the class B drug when police stopped her car along Cromwell Road in Wisbech.
She appeared at King’s Lynn Magistrates’ Court and admitted possessing around five grammes of the drug on April 10.
In mitigation, John McKenna said she had the drug for recreational use. She was given a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £55 costs. Magistrates also ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the drug.
