PEOPLE living in rural areas around Wisbech are being invited to a meeting where they can air their views and influence local policing.
The meeting will take place at Gorefield Village Hall this evening (August 7) between 6.30pm and 7.30pm and is for residents of Tydd St Giles, Newton, Gorefield, Leverington, Thorney Toll, Parson Drove, Murrow, Guyhirn, Wisbech St Mary and Ring’s End.
The Crimebuster Bus will also be outside the village hall between noon and 8pm.
PCSO Dave Russ, who covers the rural area, said: “This is an ideal opportunity for people to come and meet their local policing team and also raise any issues or concerns they have about their neighbourhood.
“Members of the public will also be invited to complete a short questionnaire prior to the meeting and the results will be used to identify community concerns and influence the police and partner agency response.”
