POLICE are holding a bicycle post coding session in Wisbech.
The session will be on Saturday January 7 between 10am and 2pm outside Halfords on the Belgrave retail park.
Bikes will be post code marked free of charge. A marked bike is far easier to return to its owner should it be recovered after being lost or stolen.
It also allows officers to prosecute offenders because a victim can be identified.
PCSO Steve Staniforth said: “Post coding is an important part of our work to tackle cycle theft.
“I would encourage anyone who hasn’t had their bike marked to come along.”
