POLICE are appealing for information after metal worth £1,500 was seized in Wisbech.
Officers recovered eight lengths of the metal which is used as supports when building internal walls, in Clarkson Avenue, on Saturday (April 2).
Now police want to trace the owners of the metal.
PC Kris Mueller, investigating, said: “This metal is of high value and we are keen to find out where is has come from.
“Anyone who believes the metal is theirs should call police.”
The metal can be viewed at Wisbech Police Station.
