Man convicted of pedestrian’s deaths

A man has been convicted of causing the deaths of two men in a collision in Wimblington Road, March.

Bill Bishop, 19, of Station Road, Manea, was yesterday (January 18) found guilty of causing death by careless driving.

He was remanded in custody and will appear again on Thursday (January 24) to be sentenced.

Pedestrians Dominic James Iliffe, 24, of Boadicea Court, Chatteris, and James Kiely, 27, of Drew Road, Silverton, London, died in the collision which happened at about 3.20am on Sunday, December 11, 2011.
