Police are appealing for information after an elderly woman’s mobility scooter was stolen in March.
The dark red Sovereign Shoprider with wicker basket was taken in Grounds Avenue overnight on Wednesday (May 29).
The victim, who is in her 80s, went to bed at 10pm and the scooter was outside in her porch, when she woke up the next day (Thursday) it was gone.
PCSO Rachael Cheverton said: “I’d like to hear from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area or if they’re offered this scooter for sale.
“The elderly lady is extremely upset as it’s her only means of getting around.”
