Police are appealing for witnesses to a fight between two men on the A14 at Brampton.

The incident happened at about 9am on Wednesday (July 24) on the eastbound carriageway near Brampton Racecourse.

One of the men had got out of a black Renault Scenic while the other had been travelling in a silver Ford Ranger.

Traffic was stationary at the time.

The former suffered serious facial injuries and was treated in hospital while the latter suffered minor injuries.

DC Sue Swales, who is investigating, said: “I am trying to find out exactly what happened when these two vehicles stopped on the A14 at Brampton on Wednesday morning. I would also like to speak to anyone who saw either vehicle being driven just prior.”

Anyone with information should contact DC Swales on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
