POLICE are appealing for information after two quad bikes were stolen from nearby addresses in Leverington Common.
Thieves broke into the back gardens of the two properties, cutting chains which secured the bikes and scaling fencing before taking the bikes.
The theft occurred on Friday August 19 after 9pm although it is thought it was just before midnight when the thieves actually struck.
Stolen was a large red Quadzilla 325E bike which had a black back box on the rear rack. The other stolen bike was a smaller silver Apache 100cc.
It is understood the culprits pushed the larger machine away from the premises before making off.
DC Kayleigh O’Brien, who is investigating both thefts, said: “I would appeal to anyone who may have seen the quad bikes or saw any thing suspicious in the area at this time on Friday to contact me.
“We are carrying out house-to-house inquiries and viewing CCTV.”
Anyone with information should call DC O’Brien on 0345 456 4564 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800-555-111.
