A TINKERS Drove resident has issued a warning after his car was damaged twice in two weeks.
Ashley Watson was dismayed to discover that the back window of his black Ford Focus had been smashed overnight between 10pm on Wednesday and 5am on Thursday on the Wisbech street.
Just two weeks earlier, his car had been scratched from one end to the other and his neighbour’s car had been broken into.
Ashley does not believe they were deliberately targeted and wants to issue a warning to other residents so they are aware of the incidents and can be vigilant.
He said: “The damage done was complete disregard for people’s hard work, put into buying the vehicles that are essential for getting to and from work.
“I just want to ask people to stay vigilant and secure all vehicles and remove any valuables from them.”
A spokesperson from Cambs Police said they are not linking the two incidents and urge anyone who saw or heard anything to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800-555111.
