A WOMAN is warning other cat owners in the Thorney Toll area after her animal was shot with an air rifle.
Autumn Taylor found her one-year-old tabby Sasha injured in the garden last Sunday (September 4) after returning from church in Wisbech.
She was extremely distressed to see an obvious hole in the cat’s back leg and Sasha couldn’t walk on it.
Autumn rushed Sasha to a vets in Peterborough where he was given antibiotics, but the vet said there was a risk he may need his leg amputating, costing in the region of £400.
The vet confirmed Sasha had been shot with what looked like an air rifle.
