Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving on Tuesday afternoon in Downham Market.

A silver Peugeot 206 was followed by officers from Crimplesham along the A1122 into Downham at 2.15pm. The car stopped at the police station just after 2.20pm and the man, aged 44 and from the town, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop for officers. He was taken to King’s Lynn Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
