Contractors working on behalf of Cambridgeshire County Council will be carrying out £250,000 worth of surface and safety improvements on the B198 Cromwell Road in Wisbech.
The road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from July 15 for an estimated three weeks. Outside of working hours the road will be open to traffic.
A signed diversion will be put in place via the A47 Wisbech Bypass, A1101 Elm High Road to Weasenham Lane, back to Cromwell Road.
Concrete joints beneath the road and the road surface will be repaired and replaced between the A47 bypass roundabout and Salters Way junction.
