Cyclists in March are being invited to get their bikes postcode-marked for free.
The crime prevention event will take place on Wednesday, September 18, at Sainsbury’s, Mill View.
Between 9am and midday, residents will be able to speak to local PCSOs about all things relating to bicycle security.
Officers will post code bikes for free and explain how they can be registered on Immobilise, an online property database.
PCSO Rachael Cheverton said: “This is a great opportunity for people to get their bike postcode-marked and to learn a bit more about how they can deter thieves and keep their bike secure at all times.
“We will also be code marking mobility scooters and wheelchairs.”
