Youngsters at a Fenland pre-school will be able to play with new toys and games thanks to a donation from a horticultural company.

Staff and children at Parson Drove Pre-school have been presented with a £1,000 donation by Wayne Eady, managing director of Delamore Ltd,

Pre-school manager Carol Grooms said: “We are very grateful to Delamores for their generous contribution which will go a long way towards our being able to purchase a variety of resources. These toys and games will help us as we hopefully expand our provision to take more children later this year.

“We are applying for Lottery funding which will enable us to start a project based on offering families ‘Early Intervention’. If we are successful we will be able to support families attending our group in a wide variety of situations, including promoting literacy and raising awareness of obesity.”
The school accepts youngsters from two years.
