High achieving sixth form students at Downham Academy passed on advice on how to get into university to younger pupils.

Robin Waag, who has secured a higher apprenticeship with Jaguar, along with Ben Backhouse and Chloe Hooper shared their knowledge and experience of the UCAS application and interview process with Year 11 pupils.

Head of DMA Sixth Form Alison Hornby said: “With competition rising for places at our top universities, it’s very important that students have as much information available from as early as possible. It’s fantastic to see the students at the start of the process learning.”
