MEMBERS of March Cavalry School’s senior choir had a big date yesterday (Tuesday) when they were due to perform in London.

The choir was set to join their voices with a massed choir of 7,500 children from across the country at the O2 Arena for the Voice in a Million Concert.

The concert, which is being staged in association with the British Association of Adoption and Fostering aims to raise awareness of adoption and children living in care.

The school’s choir has been busy practising for their big appearance with the help of teacher Sarah Edwards.

Citizen photographer Adam Fairbrother went along on Monday to capture their final rehearsal before yesterday’s trip to London.

Their participation in the event has been sponsored by two local firms: Turner and Son and Clancy Docwra.
