Wisbech’s Clarkson Infants’ School got all festive for its annual Christmas Fete.

Organised by the Clarkson Parent Partnership (CPP), the fete raised £742.41 for the school which will be used on treats for the children and to offset the cost of school trips to save parents money.

There were a variety of stalls and games in the school hall and members of the CPP were pleased with the turnout from parents and local residents.

The Wisbech Lions came along to lend a hand and bought along their sleigh and the ever-popular Lion, who was Kevin Rodgers.

The Lions also supplied Father Christmas, who was kept very busy in his grotto seeing all the excited children and hearing what they would like for Christmas.

The school put on additional activities to keep visitors entertained, including decorating Christmas cookies, writing a letter to Santa and face painting.

It was also a chance for CPP members to wear their new vests, as donated by parent Martin Dimambro, who owns local company Logikaglazing Ltd.
