College to close at 1pm

The College of West Anglia has just announced it will be closing its Wisbech campus at 1pm today (Friday) due to the expected bad weather.

They made the decision so students, some of which have to travel some distance, can get home safely before the predicted snow starts to fall.

Elsewhere in the town, Peckover Primary School was closed yesterday and today because of heating failure. Two reception classes had been sent home earlier in the week due to the same issue.
